Record setting nursing home jury verdict for the facility's failure to prevent the development and deterioration of a sacral bed sore. The nursing home resident entered the facility with a Stage 1 bedsore that deteriorated to Stage 4 with osteomyelitis while he was in quarantine for COVID-19. The resident had the sacral bed sore for 1 month before his death. Shore Law served as the nursing home litigation consultant for local counsel.
